My Story
First things first - THANK YOU for taking time to read my story!
I first encountered Scentsy back in 2013, while I was performing in a community theatre production of The Wizard of Oz, playing The Wicked Witch of the West. My husband had lost his job of 8 years earlier in 2013 and we were hard pressed to say the least, especially since we had our two boys, one of whom had been diagnosed with autism at 18 months and one who was a toddler, also later to be diagnosed with autism at age 8.
I really loved Scentsy but just felt like I couldn't justify spending money on myself at the time. Then by chance, I found another friend who was selling and I hosted an online party. When I found out that no one around my area was sharing Scentsy, I decided to take a chance.
My Mom and my sister asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I told them money so I could start a Scentsy business. They didn't understand but they did as I asked and two days before I turned 36, I signed up.
This decision CHANGED MY LIFE. No exaggeration!
I am autistic and I have severe anxiety and depression. Scentsy allowed me to help provide for my family, gave me something to focus on, goals, and more. I realized that I don't have to be what everyone else wanted me to be. I could be who I wanted to be - MYSELF.
Since then, I have grown a team, flown on a plane, gone to Disneyland, and done things that I never thought I'd have the courage to do, including going back into the nursing field! Without Scentsy, I wouldn't have the amazing life I have right now.
I'm a more positive person, focused and determined to smash every goal I set.
